Lightning, sailing, music and water.

Hannah had a great weekend, although on Friday night Hannah said she was happy for the storms to 'go' [away].
This from our window at home.

On Saturday morning Hannah went sailing, and sail she did!! The winds were light, but wind there was. Captain Hannah with crewman Caiden actually sailed way away upon the lake, tacked around and returned to the whence they came!

Then Hannah and Caiden went to the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music where Caiden got a certificate and we stayed to listen to amazing music.

After the music we discovered a library in the middle of the Botanic Gardens.

And Hannah and Caiden cooperatively built a sand castle in the Botanic playground.

On Sunday Hannah, Caiden and Amber played tennis.  It would seem everyone found it a bit too hot, and a little less tennis was played then might otherwise have been the case.

Carrington Falls walk

Over the weekend, Hannah, Caiden, Angus, Danielle, Catharina, Dave, Lex, Mark, Miri, Greta, baby Xanthe and Hannah's Dad went camping at Carrington Falls. On Sunday most of us including Hannah went on a very challenging all day walk across a deep and most mysterious valley.

Wee Jasper ...

This last weekend Hannah went with her family and some new friends caving at Wee Jasper. Hannah had lots of underground fun.  Here are lots of photos of Hannah and Caiden in Signature Cave, Dogleg Cave and 'The Dip' cave. If you click on the first photo you should then be able to preview the photos in a more user friendly manner.

Which way to go?

We had some very heavy rain back at the campsite.

Sailing ...

Caiden and Hannah are now learning to sail with the Port Kembla sailing club.

And are also doing some kayaking on the Lake Illawarra
