Caiden's Conservatorium recital

On Sunday Hannah headed to the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music to see Caiden perform his end of year recital. Here he is in action ... Hannah was sitting on the floor at the front just off screen.

Hannah was so impressed that she did her own major guitar recital once back home.

Catch up

Apologies for followers of Hannah on the absence of updates on Hannah's life of late.

Many weeks ago now on the Oct long weekend, Hannah went on a 3 day hike with a group of friends to the Blue Gum Forest in the Blue Mountains.

Here is a video of bits of it.

And here be some photos by another party member.

Hannah goes underground ...

Last weekend Hannah and her brother and Dad went caving with a group of other people including other kids. We camped for 2 nights in very cold weather (-2C). Hannah loves caving! Here is a video of some of what Hannah got up too. Hannah went down the hole into the cave together with Veronica. Veronica was a very cool person.

A walk in 'The National Park'.

Last weekend Hannah went for a long day walk in the Royal National Park with her Dad and Angus and his daughters Miri and Greta and with Cormac, Marton and Marton's Mum and Dad.

Some of us including Hannah went for a swim. The water was really really really cold.

Hannah took some of the photos using Angus's camera, including the last one here.

2015 Winter holidays

Hannah had a great time over the school holidays. Hannah and her Mum, Dad and brother went to Newnes in the Gardens of Stone National Park North of Lithgow. We stayed for a week in a warm cabin. It was minus 4.5 degrees at night.

Hannah climbed two mountains, Donkey Mountain and Mystery Mountain. Here is Hannah and her Dad on top of 'The Pinnacles', one of the highest points of Donkey Mountain.

At Newnes we made some new friends Jack, Harry, Abbey and Mark and Tamsin.
We climbed Donkey Mountain with Caiden, Jack, Harry and Mark.

Here is Hannah heading up Mystery Mountain  few days later with her Dad.

Here is Hannah on top of Mystery Mountain.

And here is Hannah heading back down again with no help!

Here's a photo of how cold it was.

And here is Hannah and a local inhabitant.

And here, if you have the time is the complete collection of photos from Hannah's time at Newnes.

After returning home Hannah had her cousins Ryley and Trinity and Uncle Tim sleep over one night and her other cousins Ellie, Kaarina and Esther, and Aunty Heather visit. Hannah went to vacation care for some days. Hannah still refers to vacation care as 'b'.

Camels & Totem Tennis

Last week Hannah borrowed a library book from School called HOOSH, which was about Camels in Australia. In it we learnt that Alpaca's are a part of the Camel family.  On the weekend Hannah met an Alpaca.

Nearby the small Camel was a game of Totem Tennis in progress. It was interesting that Hannah joined in this game with people she did not know and had never met before, totally of her own accord. She understood the game!

Wyanbene Caves

Hannah went caving at Wyanbene Caves over the weekend. Coming out of the caves there was a very mean storm, full of very close lightning, very loud thunder, near freezing air and a lot of hail. Hannah loved the caving, but did not love the storm.
Hannah's big sister Kyana was with us.

An update on Hannah's activities

Last weekend Hannah headed off to the beach with Caiden and her Dad and two boogie boards. Here are some photos. Below the photos are some different recent videos of other things Hannah's been up too.

Here is the Kiama blowhole during the school holidays.

Here is Swamp Road near Kiama on the same day.

This is Tianjara Falls near Nowra with Caiden and Kyana

Hannah might like to tell about her recent caving trip. Hannah did not like the big big storm when we were trying to get out of the cave. We all got very cold.

The 'Big Hole'.

The way into the cave.

Hannah and her Dad were recently at the Little Blowhole.
