Mammoth Cave, Janolan.

Over the weekend Hannah and her family headed to Janolan Caves and descended to the very bottom of the largest cave in NSW - Mammoth Cave. 

Mammoth Cave is not a part of the tourist caves and is quite illegal to go into! Illegal except if, as Hannah is, you're a member of a Speleological (Caving) Club. At the bottom of the cave flows the clearest river as has ever been, but it's very hard to get too with lots of tight squeezes and mazes of passage ways. Once Hannah went the wrong way with Gerrard (an adult) through a tiny little hole, then needed to come back again! I think she felt like Winnie the Pooh. Hannah needed some pulling!

At the underground river Hannah and the others had lunch, because it took all day to get in and then out again. Caiden was also there and another girl called Kate in red overalls.

Later Hannah also had special private access to Lucas Cave (a tourist cave) with the club, where we danced to Opera music! Some of these photos were taken by Hannah. 

Ask Hannah about the Possum that came into our hut and wouldn't go out again. The Possum bit Hannah's Dad's toe! They have sharp teeth!

Also ask Hannah about the storm when we were driving home in the car!
